- Co-Principal Investigator, Health Information Partnership: Consultation and Continuing Education, November 1994-June 1995. Responsible for the development and implementation of this project, funded by the Northern Wisconsin AHEC. Worked with four selected rural hospitals and native American health care agencies to develop and test a model needs assessment process, to use for planning for their health professionals' knowledge-based information needs, a criteria for JCAHO accreditation. Also, provided information access workshops to health care organizations in northern Wisconsin.
- Project Coordinator, Health Information Outreach to Professionals Serving Rural and Native Americans in Northern Wisconsin, November 1993 - February 1995. This project included 20 Grateful Med demonstrations and 35 hands-on workshops at sites throughout northern Wisconsin. Wrote this proposal, sponsored by the Marshfield Clinic and its Medical Library Committee, with funding from a National Library of Medicine sub-contract. The project included development and pilot testing of a knowledge-based information needs assessment tool for use with health professionals. As part of the project, obtained funding from the Northern Wisconsin AHEC to bring the AJN Network project manager to northern Wisconsin for a week of combined AJN Network/Grateful Med workshops for nurses.
- Library Consultant, Rural Resource Center development, Spring 1993. Advised the National Farm Medicine Center on the selection and implementation of a catalog system, wrote manual, cataloged current holdings, and trained staff.
